Hot Girl Soda          (2025)
@drinkhotgirlsoda

Introducing Hot Girl Soda, a bold, unapologetic prebiotic soda brand shaking up the California market with playful confidence and retro charm. Infused with aloe vera and minimal sugar, it's the ultimate feel-good refreshment — designed to make you glow from the inside out. Hot Girl Soda doesn’t whisper — it pouts. It’s not just a drink, it’s a mood. With a kiss on every can and a mantra that reads “Yes, you’re hot”, this is a soda that gasses you up while it refreshes. Designed to be sipped, styled, and shared.

Mission
To create a brand that radiates confidence, embraces femininity, and celebrates that "hot girl" energy — without taking itself too seriously. Hot Girl Soda stands for bold design, clean ingredients, and a little wink of mischief in every can.

Packaging Inspiration
Taking cues from vintage beauty icons and poolside postcards, the packaging pairs blush tones with punchy reds and pastel backdrops. The hero visual? A signature lipstick kiss on every can — a bold, graphic imprint that transforms each drink into a flirtatious, wearable object. Like a love note left on your soda.

Visual Identity
The visual identity plays with contrast — soft meets bold, vintage meets modern. The logo is stretched and sultry, set in a serif that commands attention. Layouts are minimal, letting the color story and iconography do the talking. The color palette draws from nostalgic makeup shades and tropical fruits.

Challenge
The biggest challenge was designing a bold identity that didn’t go overboard — walking the line between striking and clean. The goal was to channel a vintage California vibe (think ‘70s pool culture meets early-2000s cosmetics packaging) without falling into parody or clutter.

Solution
By anchoring the design in minimalism and letting key accents shine — like the lipstick kiss and custom typography (by Off Type and Giulia Boggio) — the identity finds balance. It’s feminine, graphic, and confident, with a subtle wink to retro culture. The cans look chic both in a fridge and on an Instagram feed.
